I love Tim Truman's work. This is really cool to see since he doesn't do much (any) superhero work.

I think that out of all the artists I've had the pleasure of getting to know a
bit over the past couple of years, Tim Truman has come across as the nicest
and warmest fellow.
...and a great artist as well!
Actually, the entire Truman family are super cool!

I comissioned Kris Justice to recreate the cover of the 2nd printing of X-
Men: Deadly Genesis #1 by Trevor Hairsine and Kris Justice, since I had
almost all the interior pages of the comic (only two missing!), but I had
no cover of it.
The main cover of the issue was done by Marc Silvestri and Joe Weems,
and it was a reinterpretation of the Giant Size X-Men #1 version zombie,
and the alternative cover was done by Quesada. The first one costed
originally 3,5k, but an art dealer bought it, and then wanted 5k, so it was
descarted. The Quesada cover was "cheaper", but it was still 2k and but I
was not thrilled about this one. I loved the cover by Hairsine (I thought
that it was the best of all three), but the owner didnt want to sell it no
matter the cash, so my only option was a recreation.
It was a pleasure to deal with Justice, and he delivered really fast. He also
told me that he was not too happy with his inking of the original cover, so
he'd try another approach and improve this one, and I thik that he got
this goal. I just hope you like it, too.
You can find all the interior pages in its pencil and ink form
here.
Changing the subject, I'd like to buy a TPB with all the run in Action by
Byrne and Nelson. Does anyone know if it has been compiled, and if so,
which is his title? Thanks!
It's a fantastic initiative to gather all the pencis xeroxes in the Pencil
Scans section! Congrats! I only wish it had more pencils of his old stuff,
specially of the X-Men run.

You have an amazing collection, Ferran.
As far as I know, there is no TPB yet of JB's last Action Comics run.

Thanks for the quick reply!
A pity that these comics were still not compiled, because I saw a couple
of issues and some originals, and they looked great!
I'm aware that Nelson redrawed some panels and embellished too much.
Anyway, I liked the look, and also I'd love to compare the published
comics with the scans of the pencils.
I just hope that I'm not talking about a problematic item. Since I'm new at
the forum, I don't know if Byrne doesn't like this item to be discussed or
something like this. I just found that pencils scans, and I wanted to read
the comics.
Was Nelson's run Action Comics #827-835 like the pencils scans shown
at the site? Thanks!

There's one out. It's called "Strange Attractors." As far as I know, that one covers everything except for the issue that was part of the "Sacrifice" storyline. That one's in the Sacrifice tpb.

Here's a piece I just ordered. Been looking for a Gahan Wilson for years.
The punchline also describes the piece, I'm sure you will agree!
