JB is also doing the cover for the Mars Attacks TPB. I assume it will include the Rog-2000 one.

By the way, JB. What about a few Rog-2000 backup stories in your IDW minis? I would love to see that!

Whenever I read that there is a new John Byrne title on the way, there is cause
to celebrate.

More new comics from John Byrne. Good news.

I was so psyched to see this announcement.  The original "Doomsday +1" was one of my earliest "happy discoveries" on the spinner rack of my local drug store when I was a kid.  For some reason, that store always got Charlton, Whitman, and Harvey comics in good numbers, and they were my favorites for a long time.

Anyway, very pleased to hear about this, especially since it will be a whole new take on the concept.  I like surprises. :)

Newsarama got the description correct, so this was definitely the reporter embellishing.

Still, a definite buy!

Excellent, more JB sci-fi. Very pleased with this.

I think we need a checklist of forthcoming JB works as I'm losing
track.

THE HIGH WAYS (current mini)
DOOMSDAY.1 (from May)
TRIO (2nd mini - soon?)
FINDERS OF LOST CHILDREN (Next Men:Aftermath sequel?)
COLD WAR (2nd mini)

Am I missing anything?
======
JB mention a book that had a Western feel to it. I don't know if it's this
book or a different project.

Looks like Rich has gone back and edited the piece, to make it a little more accurate, adding in some quotes from JB from this very thread.

This project sounds interesting. Again, another comic book to acquire.

Yeah looks like Rich fixed the story. It reads much better now. It's a
good thing to. I consider it a sad day when Newsarama gets a story
more accurate than Bleeding Cool.

Why is that sad? Unless I'm reading it wrong.

Anyway, looking forward to this and I have zero connection to the old Doomsday +1 series. I love me some JB super heroes, but him getting to scratch other genre itches has been the real fun of the collaboration with IDW, I think.
