Jared will be hung out to dry. Trump’s not gonna take the blame for anything. He never has.

Well, there's a first time for everything... the "walls' are closing in on him.
Obstruction of justice.

Given how thin-skinned he is, I would hope he might resign soon (pipe dream, I know), go and write a shitty book and talk forever about how the odds were against him.

If it didn’t mean it would take so long to get him out of office, I would hope he would fight all the way down. It would be so gratifying to see his lies exposed and he be revealed to be the con man he is while he still serves up the lies of fake news and the like. I mean, he probably will fight it, but our country doesn’t need him to. And hopefully Pence will go down with him. President Ryan isn’t appealing but it would be better than what we have now.

"Senators, you are laying down your personal and public reputation, not for your party, and certainly not for America. You are laying them down for Donald Trump, the most hated President this country has ever had. The philosophical question, "Does man have a soul", is here tested." - Neal Adams on Twitter. (Hit the nail right on the head.)
Seriously, what led up to Trump's "victory", and till now, is a true test of where our Democracy is headed... and I really would hope that Pence, Ryan, Sessions, McConnell and the rest for the GOP that bent over for Trump be dismissed from their positions for their part in this.
PARTY OVER COUNTRY. People keep likening this to Watergate. Nope. Nixon wasn’t in bed with Brezhnev. Didn’t collude with him. Didn’t have a Congress covering for him. His own party held him to accounts. Unlike this crew in today's Congress.
THAT isn't what this country should be about.
They're not worthy and we need a government that will function with real moral values and WORK FOR ALL THE PEOPLE, not just their "special interest" groups/ fund raisers.

Something I just realized: the Founders originally intended impeachment to install the runner-up from the last election, since that runner-up would have been vice president and successor to the presidency in the event of removal from office.
If John Adams had been impeached, for example, the Federalist executive would have transferred to VP Tom Jefferson's Democratic-Republicans. (Yes, the Founders tried to blunt factions, but were it simply a matter of ideologically-opposed individuals, the effect would have been the same.) The 12th Amendment, by codifying tickets to prevent repeats of the 1800 election fiasco, had the effect of ensuring continuity for corrupt administrations, but that's a bug, not a feature, and not the intent of the change.
Not that it changes anything, since the law is what it is, but conservatives whining about a silent coup are as off base than they are dishonest, and liberals fantasizing about an impossible Hillary Clinton installation hew closer to our nation's founding ideals than even they realize.

In the middle of the night Senate Republicans passed their fucked up tax bill. If you wanna know why Trump gets no heat from the GOP despite all the evidence that he is a lying traitor....tax breaks for the obsecenly wealthy is why.
I was saying for a few years now that this nation is in the midsts of a Cold Civil War. The rich and greedy vs. the rest of us. When and what will it take to fight back?
I’m GLAD I don’t have grandchildren.

*** I don't know much about him, but got to be an improvement on the narcissistic buffoon and the anti-LGBT religious zealot.

We ,the people of this country, will never fight back. As long as there are folks that only pay attention to whatever the bright shiny object (fill-in blank) of the moment that constantly distract us.
There are just too many in this country that are too stupid to realize that they are being played by individuals that can be easily kicked out of office if they just wake-the-fuck-up.

Well, a bunch of supposedly 'awake' people decided last year not to vote for Hillary because they couldn't vote for Bernie, and therefore voted for nobody. Or worse, voted for Gary Johnson. And that fucked up the country even more than the people who actually voted for you-know who.
