Oh, yeah!!!! Outta nowhere, too. Since Trevor Scott was named as artist, this comes as a most welcome surprise. Going to be interesting to see this artistic combo.

Plus, JB on Superman ( sorta) again!

Any chance of a non-spoiler sneak peek now that the cat's out of the bag?

****

At a mere 11 pages, the preview is too short to be spoiler free. Not sure if DC has released any images of the Atom's "new" costume, either, so again my hands are tied.

No problem; patience is a virtue, so we'll see it all come June!

JB, is this like your Action Comics collaboration with Gail or are you two co-plotting/co-writing the Atom book?

By the way, the Superman project sounds extremely cool.  Looking forward to all 4 editions actually!

Given your repeated bashing of Singer's Superman John,
why are you now working on his version of the mythos
timed it seems to promote said flick?

I'm delighted, it means an extra dose of goodness that
month but is this a sign of your mellowing; and if so
might we see some new Marvel work in the future or some
of the Legend stuff at Image?

JB's comments about the film is criticism, not bashing, Malachy. Bashing is what worthless provocateurs do.

Point taken Joe, thanks! I'm not for one moment
suggesting John's a worthless provocateur!

Please read "criticism" in place of "bashing" in my above
post (so as not to edit and render Joe's point
confusing!).

That's really cool.

I'm not sure I'll pick up the Superman book (if it's just an adaptation of a movie I already own) but I'll definitely give the Atom book a try, based on the high quality of the Action Comics run.

"Not sure if DC has released any images of the Atom's "new" costume"
-------
Your selective use of quotation marks torments my fragile mind.

When is a new costume not a new costume?

Man, I love the Silver Age Atom costume. They're changing it?

Ever since I saw a mis-colored page in a Greatest Stories collection, I've long thought the Atom costume would look better with the blues replaced by whites.

That might look pretty good, now that I think about it.
