Here you go, Anthony. I definitely prefer Storm to this.

Interesting historical thing-- in Dave Cockrum's second X-Men run, he drew Storm's boots as skin-tight, as opposed to the wider-topped model that JB favored. He said JB's version looked to him like it would flop down--
But here's the original-original design sketch-- with the wide-topped boots.
I always liked them this way better, myself.

I definitely prefer Ororo to that too! But that is an interesting concept! I wonder if that was how Dave got the idea for Wolverine's hair...hmmm? Nah...probably Timber Wolf-esque! I think Dave created Timber Wolf, right?

Didn't Herb Trimpe draw Wolverine first? Or did Wolverine never show up without his cowl on in that appearance? (It's been a while since I read that issue)

Cowl only if I recall correctly. But plenty of Wolverine style attitude!

Cockrum designed and first drew the "modern" Timber Wolf, but the original underlying character -- Lone Wolf -- was John Forte.

Thanks Frank I appreciate you finising this for me.
As for Wolverine's design. I know he was first designed in costume by John Romita sr. first done in comics by Herb Trimpe in the Hulk , Gil Kane mistakenly did the mask wrong on the cover to the new x-men which became the mask we all know and love. But i do believe Dave Cockrum drew Logan first. If i recall he was suppose to be late teens early twenties. But as soon as Dave slapped the mutton chops on him it aged Logan 30 years. I'd say thou it's a safe bet that this hair do did carry some inspiratin for Logan's do.

It would be BIG hair day? It would compensate for Wolverine's size day? It would be magnificent because X-23 would have to hide from a killer instincted, weather weilding titan who could kick her scrawny little genetically-spliced bottom day!
Yeah...who wants to write the first piece of speculative fiction on it?? Me...me!!
Of course if it were Wolvie and the Black Cat...then hair day!
