They are so dark and depressing to me.  Not the kind of material typicaly found in a JB comic.

All:
I am new here; so, please forgive some naive questions.  Are these "Next Men Phone Books" like Marvel Essentials and Showcase Presents?  It looks as if they will include the original JB endings.  Sure hope so!  :-)

HA! I first discovered the Next Men in trades, and enjoyed those a lot, although I never understood some parts (related to the back-up feature missing). I started buying the Next Men in back issues last year, and finally "got" the whole story. (so far, I have 1-20, missing the HellBoy issue)

Next Men Phone Book in the pipeline... good news. Hope to hear more about it soon.

F.

It occurs to me that if these phone books are in black and white, we'll miss
out on Bethany growing paler and paler -- one of my favorite subtle touches
about the book.

I just recieved my bound Next Men collection in the mail a few days ago and I'm already half way through reading it. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed this when it first came out.

Get issues 0 - 30 and take them to a binder.
