All: Question for JB. The latest copy of Back Issue states that years ago you submitted a new version of Batwoman to DC but was ignored or rejected. Would you mind letting us know what you planned for her? Was she Kathy Kane or someone else?

Under the heading of "Sufficient Water Under that Bridge" --- I came across a reference to the bat being a symbol of good luck in certain Asian cultures. Inspired by this, I put together a pitch for a teenage Asian Batgirl. This was rejected by the Bat-editor of the time. A few months later, under the same editor. . .

Yes, but, character wise, she was one of the better creations of the past decade... of course, they've destroyed that. She's now a Robin villain.

Great costume design. I liked it as much as I did the Blackhawk girl from
Generations.

Sweet design, though I have to admit that a Bat-based character sans cape just seems wrong to me.....

Very cool, JB. What color scheme did you have in mind for Batgirl's costume?

Dont that much about the character, but I think she's half Asian. Her father was named "David Cain" as an homage to David Carradines character of Cain in the Kung Fu TV show. her mother is apparantly Lady Shiva.(Sandra Wu-San).
