Beautiful! Love the look on Kitty's face and the menace in Wolverine's eyes.
Along the lines of recreations, is there a cover from this vintage that you
wouldn't change a thing?

Great new cover...Mr. Byrne, do you realize that you are setting chains in motion...how long before we see someone else doing it?

This is NEAT, JB...I like THIS version better than the old.
This might seem like a stupid question, but...would you be open to "reimagining" a cover you DIDN'T do? I ask because there are a couple of Jim Aparo covers I had intented to have him do, but I never got around to having him do it.

Hey, JB! I think it's kind of scary. Logan looks scary, and Kate looks scared. Cool. When did you do this? How long did it take?

would you be open to "reimagining" a cover you DIDN'T do?*** That's just what I did on some of the bound volume endpapers, Matthew. There I "reimagined" some Cockrum covers, both from his run and mine.

I just posted this on the "Bookeneds" thread in response to JB floating the
idea of doing this:
"Wow! That would be quite the experience for me as that is hands down
my favorite cover. It's obviously one of the most iconic covers in modern
comics as evidenced by the number of times it is homaged.
I'm intrigued - while I feel that the image that started this thread is ripe
for re-interpretation, that "Days of Future Past" image is perfect to my
eyes. "
*****
And now that I've seen it, I can't believe it works to my eyes. That original
is burned into my mind, but this really works. Kitty's fear is more
palpable, and it makes much more sense that Wolverine would defend her
against a Sentinel with both claws rather than one. Wolverine feels more
kinetic and less "posed".

AHHHH...yes...I had forgotten about those. Hmmm...I sense an email to Jim Warden in the not too distant future...
