Actor Scott Caan. A decent actor of short stature and a pretty muscular physique. Two characters immediately come to mind for him. Take One = a possible Al Pratt, the original Golden Age Atom.
Take Two = with darker hair color and added extra body hair, my current choice for Wolverine for any re-boot of the X-Men film franchise.

A "Could Have Been" Hellfire Club for a proper big screen X-Men/Dark Phoenix saga: Clive Owen = a possible Sebastian Shaw.
Nicole Kidman = a possible Emma Frost.
Ray Winstone = a possible Harry Leland.
Paul Bettany = a possible Donald Pierce.
Prettyboy Pitt with proper hairstyle & facial hair = a possible "Jason Wyndgarde".
Robert Knepper, with proper hair style & facial hair = the true Jason Wyndgarde/Mastermind.

Now that's the Hellfire Club ! Great casting but I think the movie cost would be through the roof (Kidman, Pitt, etc.).

Hey Arc, Peter can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he meant that as far as looks wise, January Jones is probably the number one representation of how many of the present fan base/artist do/would picture Sue. Although considering the mindset of some of the newer breed of self professed comic fans today, I wouldn't be surprised that a cleavage exposing costume as in that picture, is exactly how they wish Sue to be dressed

Thanks Ray.To me, January Jones LOOKS like Sue. Not that I want to see the character in some crazy-slutty version of an FF uniform, but simply her face (and yes, her body) is what I picture Sue looking like. Believe me, if Ms. Jones were to ever put on the same costume that Jessica Alba wore in the dreadful FF movie, she wouldn't disappoint anybody. The woman is a knockout. If the rumors of a FF movie reboot are true, I would totally be on board with her in the role.

Superman the Reboot or at least my take on one. Staying with an unknown rather than a big name actor : Victor Webster = Clark Kent/Superman.
Michelle Monaghan = Lois Lane.
Posted this choice before : Billy Zane = Lex Luthor.
Michael Cera = Jimmy Olsen.
Alec Baldwin = Perry White.
Supporting characters & other bad guys to follow soon.

I actually would like to have given Brandon Routh another shoot at Superman. With a better script and better costume design, I think he could have done a far better job as Superman than what came about in Superman Returns. But since it's been reported that his contract had been allowed to expire for any possible future Superman acting, I decided to go reboot with a different actor. An actual Superman Returns holdover : Eva Marie Saint = Martha Kent.
Joanna Garcia = Lana Lang.
For flashback sequences, modeling Jor-El & Lara after their current update in apperance : Frank Langella with proper hair piece = Jor-El.
Uma Thurman = Lara.

That Lois Lane looks good. And I absolutely love Cera as Olsen (although I guess you'll have to add the freckles digitally).

When did Lara become a blond? A few years ago when DC decided to bring back "the Multiverse" concept. Quick and dirty way to describe Superman's status now is basically some elements from all versions of Superman (Golden Age, Silver Age, Man of Steel, TV series, cartoons, and movies) have now been made official status for the comic. The blond Lara & bearded Jor-El were done as younger takes on the movie versions from Superman the Movie, but without making them look exactly like actors Marlon Brando and Susannah York. A take of the movie versions of General Zod, Ursa and Non, introduced at the same time, are also now part of the Superman continuity.

And speaking of the characters of General Zod, Ursa and Non: Rufus Sewell = General Zod.
Jodi Lyn O'Keefe = Ursa.
Wrestler Paul "Big Show" Wight = Non.
