We heard it was coming. Great to see it. After fighting off the Red Skull in your other recent Cap commission I just naturally figure he goes after Golgotha next.

That looks awesome. Golgotha is a great design. The only thing better than a skull in a jar is a Nazi skull in a jar!

It does seem to be begging for a companion piece with Torch of Liberty leaping in from the left side of the page at the Red Skull, though...

I could try and guess but I do not think you'll tell and I like the surprise. Incidentally, I believe you said the smaller ones take less than a day and the stand alone figures a couple of hours, have you ever done two commissions in one day?

Not fully. I finished this one this morning, and will
probably do the next one this afternoon. If I had done
the Cap/Golgotha one entirely today, I would take the
rest of the day (however long that was) off.

Another great villain that we didn't get to see enough of.  Bravo! Kudos to whom ever requested this one.

Golgotha was the Red Skull/Doctor Doom/Humongous avatar for my TORCH OF LIBERTY series, which appeared as a backup in DANGER UNLIMITED. He also made a menacing appearance in the lead feature.

The name comes from the hill where the Romans in Paletstine used to execute prisoners. I means "the place of the skull".

That's a great commission, JB. Only a master can make a skull in a jar seem menacing!
