John, seriously, for the last time ... stop skimping on the details!  And draw a background for Christ's sake!!

***

Secrets behind the comics -- or commissions, in this case: I decided to go out on a limb a bit with this one. A small experiment (which would have only meant drawing the whole thing over again, if it failed!). I penciled Cap and Golgotha*, and the hook that Cap is swinging from, but aside from a perspective grid I did no pencils for the background, just went straight in with the ink pens.

I guess my old "projector" still works!

*Would that be "Gollie" in fanspeak? :::shudder:::

That is the first I have ever seen of Golgotha, and I have to say that it is a very intriguing villain. I absolutely love the visual. I really must track down some of these Danger Unlimited comics. Was there ever a Torch of Liberty series?

****

Only a one-shot, containing the chapters of a story
that was intended as a backup for DU.

Is the above a refrence to being bold, living on the edge, or just
plain crazy?! Only those who know you best will ever know for sure.

All right, more Golgotha!

Now, somebody is gonna have to commission another one of these "crossovers" so that we can finally get a look at Umbra.

Our own Nathan Greno has tried to get an Umbra commission out of me, Chuck, but I will nae do it! Some things have to be saved for the books -- however unlike the publication of those books may be!

Penny as TelStar is no problem. That's not a "big
reveal".
