The client asked for Sue -- or Sue's hair, actually -- from a very specific period. So on the "waiting list" I put "Sue -- Andy hair." Mrs. Richards was based on Mrs. Byrne at the time!

I should mention that this, and this morning's Colossus* were inked almost entirely with the BRUSH nib on the PITT pens. In Peter's case, some additional feathering was done with the MEDIUM nib, in Sue's case the face and hair.


*Don't swing at the easy ones.
