Wow ! A good one.

Just a stupid question : so, in fact, we can ask for a commission about something that was not previously drawned by Mr Byrne, rigth ?

Nice idea for a commission. I love the fact that there aren't any borders. The piece is Kirbyrific!

(man! I can't type!)

Of course. A quick perusal of the Gallery will show you a passle of pictures of scenes I didn't originally draw. Original X-Men vs Sentinels. Avengers vs Ultron. The Iron Giant. Any of the Doctor Strange pieces. FF vs the Super Skrull. Thing vs Old Time Monsters. Original Avengers vs Hulk. Spider-Man vs FF.

What I won't do is precise recreations. Like, if this customer had asked for an exact copy of the cover of FF74, even tho it would probably have been fun to do, I would have declined.

WOW!  Just amazing....

I recently finished reading the original issue and I must say NO ONE can render space in such a cosmic way as Kirby and Byrne.  Would love any insights into how one goes about illustrating space in such a grand way.  Its like the space I imagined as a kid when our "future" was jetpacks and space stations!
