Green all the way!!!  This one just screams power to me.  Props would have detracted from the image.  It's all about the Hulk.  I find it funny when people draw Hulk almost pretty-boyish.  The guy in tis thread is a savage, with one eye bigger than the other(which I love by the way).  To me Hulk should not be exactly proportional.  He didn't work out for this body.  It's the result of gamma radiation.  Can't wait to see the other green JB mentioned above.  Should be a fun week.  Thanks for sharing JB.

I only own one page of original art from THE INCREDIBLE HULK series--and it's a page from JB's first run.

It's from #318. The page where Banner has two holographic images of the Hulk standing side by side: on the left is the Hulk of 1962--the image that later became the cover corner symbol--and on the right is the Hulk of 1986.

**********

That run was wayyyyy too short.  It should have lasted years.

WOW!! A fantastic Hulk! JB puts more into these single figure drawing than most current artists put into whole pages!

Lovely.

My first reaction was to say it reminded me of Uncle Walt's work. Not someone that I've ever seen as a direct influence on JB's work, but, for some reason, I see it here.
