Great piece JB! One thing that I have noticed, not just now but a long time ago, is that of all the artists I have seen you draw the best arm musculature. Perhaps its the way the bicept joins with the forarm, or the shoulder to the tricept, not really sure, but whatever it is, you do it better than anyone else!

I know you have commented on the amount of time these take you to do, but please, please tell me that this took days becasue if it did not whoever says that they need months(or in some cases years) to get a book out should be shot. *** Little over an hour. About average for these single figure shots.

You're really mastering the single figure commissions, so much so, that I look forward to them almost as much as the multiple character full background ones.
This one leaves me as speechless as the dude that just told Wolverine "You're gonna have to put that out. There's no smoking at this bar."

swords in the miniseries he did with Chris.

So, based on the cost of a single-figure commission and the time it took you to draw that, your hourly rate would be...holy cow!
I like to show these figures to my dad and remind him that he discouraged me from pursuing comic book art as a career.

One down side to this is that now JB will undoubtedly get even more Wolverine requests, which of couse in not bad per se, but I would like to see more of some other characters too.

Nice work JB. Wolverine looks a bit different to me than in your usual rendering. Something about the mask. It has a very Art Adams feel to it. Oustanding ink work on this. The heavy to thin line is laid out masterfully. The scanner incosistency makes me think you used a marker, but the line screams brush...
