Great picture of him JB.

Problem is, the baby Samurai swords would have all their cutting edge along the top, meaning all his slashes would have to be backhanded -- which they're not.

+++++++++++++++

I always interpreted it as all three edges (top, angled front end/tip, bottom) of each claw being sharp, but you make a valid point.

JB, would you mind disclosing what the commissioner requested?

Ari: JB, what made you opt for this costume?  Do you prefer this one over the other?

Ari, JB already answered in this previous post on the first page:

JB: Bit of "Behind the Scenes":

Something with which I seem always to have to struggle is that tiny little anatomical point where the collar bones connect with the top of the shoulder. I sat down to lay out this figure this morning, and for some reason those two small areas clicked just perfectly, first pass. Then I thought "Wait a second -- which costume did the guy want?" I checked the email from Jim and. . . .

Roger, JB didn't complete the sentence, and did not express his preference.  Never assume.... (not trying to be argumentative Roger.  I do appreciate your point)

Well, JB designed the brown costume, so I'd say there's no assumptions there...

Very nice, I think this may be for me. It is similar to what I asked for. I haven't heard from Jim yet. Thanks in any case JB, this would match up nice with the Dark Phoenix.

Take care

Atilla

What did you ask for?  Because (and don't tell a soul) I'm in for a Wolverine piece too, and it fits my description to a tee. I asked for a leaping/almost flying Wolverine with arms out and claws extended, and also requested that he be tattered, which he clearly is here.
