These Iron Fist commissions keep getting better and better.  Really like this one.  Why does Scott have the distiction of having his name appear at the bottom of the commissions?  Who is the guy who looks like Ming the Merciless?

Best one yet of the Iron Fist covers.  Nice job, JB.

Let me rephrase.  Why do some people's names appear at the bottom of the commissions while other people's names do not?

JB,

How do you get the eyes to look so intense?

This is just one of those images that color can't improve.  Especially love the texture on the braceletts.  JB has really done some amazing work recently with texture on metal.

Joe, I know what you mean. I've been looking for back issues because of all these IF covers recreations.  Have the issue ever been collected?

There's a great Essentials that collects all of it. I read it recently.

Don't skip the pre Claremont/Byrne stuff either. While not all the art is so good, the story is pretty entertaining.

Wow.  I like both covers, but the recreation is great.

Fred, I am serious.  Look at the intesne look on several of the last JB commissions.  The Thing has never looked so intense.  Hulk has never looked so savage.  It's all in the eyes man.

Lovely piece!  You're a lucky man Scott.

Anyone else get a slight Mike Zeck vibe from it? Something about the way Khumbala Bey's face is inked I think.  Might just be me.

I'm getting a bit of a Jack Cole vibe off the figure in the background.  (That's a good thing!)
