Cool seeing your Wolverine in the original costume!
Have you ever drawn this version of the costume before?

As I recall, only once, in a flashback.

Vis that HULK/WOLVERINE cover --- I don't actually recall who ended up drawing that mask. There was much bouncing back and forth over whether Wolverine should be in what was then his current mask (as in the corner symbol) in order that potential customers might not be scared away. I have vague memories of the thing being drawn that way, then changed, then changed back, then changed again -- each time by a different artist!!Anyway -- the only one I am sure I drew is in the flashback, posted above.

This is kinda stupid, but my daughter is learning her roman numerals in
school right now, and I smiled when I saw the MMVII in the signature.
I know they have been there for a long time, but today, I noticed them
in a different context.
I like this drawing quite a bit, JB, thanks (as always) for sharing your work with the board.
Todd

J.B. very well done. Wasn't that the mask that John Romita designed ?

Now THAT'S what Wolverine's claws are supposed to look like! NOT 5-

Very cool seeing JB do a retro Wolverine. My only complaint, not enough arm hair! ;-)
