Sweet piece! It's nice to see Green Lantern's real uniform, not the current "Here's My Dick" uniform.

Absolutely! Alas, I think his name probably gets in the way. Too many "sophisticated" readers and writers are embarassed by it. ---JB

Sinestro

Juggernaunt

Magneto

Captain Cold

Doctor Doom

GREAT villian names.

Completely agree!

But, then, I actually like writing superheroes!

My first thought on the commision was this takes place right before the heroes yell, "SWITCH!" and Batman takes down Sinestro, Green Lantern pummels Grodd, and Flash takes apart the Joker-craft!

Great piece, Mr. Byrne!

Question for JB. Going back to the Red Ghost.Did you ever have any plans to use him during your F.F. run?

GORGEOUS stuff, JB.  When the image first came up, it reminded me quite a bit of the latest issue of the Brave and the Bold.  You and Mr. Perez constantly remind me of why I enjoy superheroes and comics in general.

MANY thanks!

:-)

"Thanks Gerry.  This is the first time that I've noticed that the Puppet Master's puppet was a Hembeck in that FF Poster."

---

Thanks for pointing that out, Brian.

I wish the Green Lantern ring still had the yellow weakness.  I enjoyed seeing Hal and other GLs struggle with something as seemingly innocuous as the color of an enemy (or projectile, or prison, etc.).

No storyline ever suggested itself. Probably just as
well. My simians were less than stellar back then!

I remember being suprised when I first saw The Red Ghost in a US Marvel comic as he'd been re-named The Mad Ghost in the UK reprints.

Just thought I'd share that!

I think my first exposure to the Red Ghost and his Super Apes was the FF cartoon.
