JB did you base Puck on any real person? I always looked at him as a shorter version of Wolverine without the claws. That is until they made him 6' tall in later issues.

I like how you managed to sneak in some Canadian landscape in the little bit of background that shows through. I would say this is my favorite Alpha Flight-themed commission so far.

Very cool - good to see more of Alpha Flight!
I've always liked the soles of Puck's boots. I also liked how the fur kind of forms horns when Tanaraq is in control.

Love it. Loveitloveitloveit. That's a heck of a lot of action to get into an 11x17 page, but it works so well. It's great to see old friends again. Thanks.

That is one character that did not deserve to die. Would have loved a solo Puck series.

Very, very loosely on a friend who was short (but not
as short as Puck) and occasionally bald.

Totally understandable. Hopefully, they will get a new EIC with some respect for the characters and the creators that came before them.

Wow, did that really happen? Can someone post an image showing a tall Puck? I'd be really interested to see that.

Very nice commission JB. I especially like the way you create the illusion of motion for puck. A la the Iron Fist days.
Super.

I like the fact that the border of the image is slightly jagged, instead of being "ruler straight." It adds to the overall kinetic atmosphere of the piece.

Here's a question. Since M***** has killed Puck off, could you now produce that character in an independent comic? I think a comic with Puck's unique characteristics would be a kickass comic.

I don't have an image, but believe me it was very disturbing to me as a young teen.

I don't have a pic, but it did happen. One writer took a unique character (a liitle person superhero) and made it so that the person wasn't really a little person by nature, but an average-sized man who was somehow made small when he had to contain a demon within him. That's the way I recall it.

I think the nice thing about having those old stories is that we can just ignore what happened after and enjoy what we did the first time again!
