I can see how that saves time because you only have to draw some elements once and loose nothing in the process.

***

Your wee typo, using "loose" instead of "lose", actually touches upon the reason I leave most of the detailing of background elements, aside from architecture, to the inking stage. I do, indeed, want to keep it as loose as possible. Back at the beginnings of my career I would often lay out every bit of rubble, or every blade of grass, with the odd effect that sometimes the drawings would be so tight the inker would not realize it was supposed to be rubble! There is a panel in STAR LORD where an exploded instrument panel became levers and lights, because Terry misread my too-tight pencils.

Not bad, not bad. I'm kidding, it's freaking amazing.

I wonder what happened to that little cutie pie the Wendigo is trying to chow down on in that issue, represented with her baby once more under JB's pen.

Somebody should write a story where that baby grew up to be a major player in the MCU. It'd be a nice backstory for a new character.

I don't recall if the baby was a girl or boy however.

Chad, that fight can't have happened more than a few years ago. That baby shouldn't even be in kindergarten yet.

Nightcrawler may be the most heroic X-Man.  He has every reason to hate the world and instead he finds himself again and again fighting foes way out of his league to save others.

I don't know if this is right but this one has a Terry Austin quality in the inks.

I really like this re-imagining thing.

JB, that is ridiculously good.  Whoever is the lucky recipient, is well - lucky!  Terrific stuff!

My favorite Byrne X-Men issue and now there is a commission to admire. Great job on this one, JB.

I love when you draw Wolverine's mask like this.
