In looking at the posted pics -- and my copies are unavailable -- are we
ever shown Flatman's feet or is he always stretched out... (Anyone can
answer).

[quote]And here I had worried that I might have gone too far emphasizing
that it was all supposed to be "stupid".[/quote[

I didn't think it was stupid, just zany or quirky. Most importantly, it was fun.

Thanks for posting, Trevor.

And it's great to see the shot from which you got your avatar!

Another great from JB, hell all of these WCA issues were and are comic book gold.

Mockingbird and that little fallen bang of hair. Man she's a pretty dame.

Absolutely loved the "calming" empty speech balloon. An amazing job making all these characters interesting in a very short span of time. One of my favorite issues of the WEST COAST run, if not THE favorite.

I thought it was a terrific issue. Kind of a break from all the Vision business. I enjoyed the way JB handled Hawkeye during his run of the WCA.

Some might say it was typecasting. . .

Absolutely loved the "calming" empty speech
balloon.

There were fifteen or twenty letters to that issue that
included some variant on "What did she say? The
lettering was missing in my copy!"

This issue still stands out in my mind far greater than any other issue of JB's AWC run.  I don't know why, but it had staying power (although I liked reading other issues more, and the best moment was Iron Man's return to the team).

Yeah gotta love that 80's high hair style.

I was pretty cheesed off when they killed her. but at least it was a noble sacrifice.
