Nice, and not a character I would normally associate with JB.  Just goes to show you, he's fit for all characters!

I miss my monthly JB fix...

Deadman's arms in particular are inked in a way that evokes OMAC era inks while incorporating the kind of hatch-marks that I first started seeing in Generations 3.

Except for the head and collar, this was all "brush", as was OMAC.

This is the best I have ever seen your signature incorporated into a piece....I know Neal is the definitive Deadman artist, and this like an evolution of the character.  Nice to see someone draw Deadman scary without resorting to drawing a skeletal character, whih is what we have seen lately.  Skeleton man

I'm quite the fan of Deadman and always enjoy seeing him. Great work, Mr. Byrne, I think your commission is good because it does justice to the character and what he stands for.

By the way -- I know I must have mentioned this before, but it occured to me not too long ago that the original Deadman series, in STRANGE ADVENTURES, beat "Quantum Leap" to the punch by about a quarter century.

How much fun do you have coming up with the names of these threads, JB?

This one particularly made me chuckle.

JB, what kind of "brush" was used? Or if you don't want to reveal any
secrets...what kind of brush do most inkers use? Whenever I hear "brush", I
get the mental image of what someone would use to paint a house! Silly, I
know.
