I reread Generations 3 yesterday, and was wondering if someone could post (or direct me to) a scan of the covers arranged so that they reveal the visage of Darkseid.

Michael, start with issue #s 5 & 7 (the eyes), and go from there.

Here's the face:
(May have missed some of the subtlety that JB put in it, but here are the
main lines.)

When the second issue came out, people were already complaining that they "couldn't see" Darkseid's face. Pretty soon I realized a lot of people were expecting this to be something that really jumped out at the viewer -- like, when they were all put together there would be this big, honkin' Darkseid face with the action of the covers superimposed. I wanted something much more subtle!

That's cool. I'd never noticed it nor known about it before.

Hmm, still can't make it out. Even using the handy little guide above. But then I was always rubbish at the magic eye pictures too.
But I should be having the set arriving soon, got all but #8 in a bundle from ebay. Maybe I'll fare better with the physical books.

How difficult was it to compose those covers so they fit in just such a way?
