Wayne, even if JB wasn't drawing this, I'd buy it. I'm a sucker for gorillas. How friggin cool is it to see your story be told with the famous John Workman sound effect lettering? I'm begging you to come to Chicago this year, so I can see a copy.

THAT is some great work, JB! Very dynamic, very savage.
Thanks for the sneak peak, both you and Wayne!
(. . . and I can't tell you how upset I am that this is a JB Gorilla page that I have no hope of getting my hands on . . .)

Hokey smokes, Bullwinkle! That looks great!! I agree with Bill...nothing like a pissed off gorilla to spice up a book. Now if John Workman was able to work in a couple of those Thor-esque "DOOM!!!!!!!" sound effects....

John & Wayne,
Your collaboration looks outstanding! I'm looking forward to buying a copy in the future. Perhaps it could be purchased directly from here? Either way ...nice work guys.

It really is great to see a master at work. How simple the pencils are and how
JB is able to elaborate those into the finished work. It really does not take
that long to do - its just takes 30 plus years of practice to get there.
