Come one, Come all!

HERE is your starting point. This time, no upper limit on the number of pages. Lower limit, two. My page, however many you produce, is to be the middle page. Pencils, inks, script, any combination. Team up or work solo.

Some rules based on previous efforts:

•No filling space with retelling origins.

•No completely unrelated material that just happens to converge with the starting image for one page.

•No adding or subtracting of characters.

•No begging for extension of deadlines.

•And, as before, no comparing with other people's work.

•You must announce your intent to enter, and how many pages you will be doing. No exceptions, no substitutions, no refunds.

Deadline for the whole kit and kaboodle, no ifs, ands or buts, is October 1st, 2007.

Start your engines…

I've been ignorant of these Art Challenges. Will you accept just scripts?

Could this be "stickied" until the deadline?

******

Thanks!

It IS "Stickied".

And while scripting is an "art", a script alone is not
enough for an entry in an ART Challenge. Find a
penciler!

Yes!  Thanks for doing this, JB.  I asked because this is considerably more motivating than just the sketchbook thread.  Excellent amount of time as well.  I'm going to safely promise 2 pages, in anticipation of job workload ramping up very soon.

This should be fun.

If anyone is interested in writing a script for it, I can pencil it. I can only commit to 1 page a week. Please let me know.

Edited to ask,
when is the deadline for announcing our intent  if we're going to participate, and page count?

Ummmmm -- I've been watching doodles, as JB says, fall off my pencil recently -- I think I may throw my hat in for a double - with JB's page making it a triple.

Question for JB -- may we add script to YOUR page ?

I am a whimp. haha I was nervous about committing to 2 pages. But, I also haven't done anything like this.. and I am unfamiliar with all of the characters in this commission. So, I have a lot of reading to do to be comfortable enough to attempt this. If there wasn't so much time to do this commission, I would have had to pass.

I'm in.  I can probably come up with a 10 page story, and use your commission as the "middle two pages", like a double splash.  Which means I'll do 8 pages.

No adding or subtracting of characters.

This is the tricky part.  I don't have a real idea for a story yet, but I wouldn't think anyone/thing really minor would count here...

Oh, that is the "Johnny Blaze" Ghost Rider, right?  I'm not up on any other versions...
