George,

You can't tell if that's inked?

MTU #79 is easily one of my all-time favourite comics! What can be better than Spider-Man and Red Sonja being drawn by John Byrne?? The story is excellent as well!

The story is barely there, but given the restrictions under which we labored, I guess it gets the job done.

Incidentally, that story began its life as a Spider-Man/CONAN team-up. It just turned out to be far less hassle to use Sonja.

Terrific JB. Love all the detail on the sword and the detached head. Also, I love redheads. Go Red Sonja!

I still think it was a good story - - especially when you consider it's an unlikely team-up.

What a great idea and what a great commission.  Blown away.

I predict a surge in Red Sonja commission requests.

IMO MJ turning into Sonja was a novel idea.

I've said it before and I recall you mentioning it was strictly out of the question at the time but a MJ/Sonja book could have been a great fun.

JB,

how would you have drawn different if the commissioner asked for RED SONYA?
