John could you please tell me what part of the country you live in.
I'm planning a trip over the border to Niagara Falls, but I'd like to ensure the new JLU figures will be present when I get there.
The new stuff tends to arrive on the west coast and trickle eastward.

Also, did you spot the entire wave when you picked up your EVIL action figure?

Sure thing Lars, I live just outside Louisville Kentucky. Although I can't ensure you'd find everything JLU your looking for, I can say that the Targets in the Louisville area tend to restock pretty good on JLU figures. When I purchased Superwoman they also had the new colored corrected Booster Gold (with Skeets), the single Parasite, John Stewart (white gloves), Batman (Wonder-Pig), Superman (Phantom Zone Projector), Sinestro (Yellow Suit), and a bunch of odds and ends figures with some of the latest six pack sets (Deadman set).

I hate the lasso also Marc, I found this picture of the JLU Ultraman that should be showing up in stores soon along with the re-release of the hard to find Volcana.

Could anyone recommend a Thing action figure (past or present)?

The ones from the recent movies stray too far from the original design, and
the Marvel Legends are a bit too human in form. I'm having a difficult time
finding one that is, for lack of a better description, Thing-like.
