I'm not SPENDING money, I'm SAVING money!!!

So, courtesy of MidTownComic's 35% off sale, picked up a couple of figures I
would likely have passed on otherwise. . .

And how could I possibly pass on this guy?

Nice figures!

Gladiator seems to have a bit of Tim Curry eye-liner look going on, tho.

Thanks guys!!   Jim did a HELL of great job on this sculpt, I think he captured the character perfectly.

JB, that's a real treat coming from you.

JB .. here's a question I've always had about Wildchild ... was he an albino?  Or was he supposed to be?  I know while you were on the book he was always colored in a similar fashion to Snowbird (hair and skin wise) and I always got the impression that he was supposed to be one.

Now, a word of caution:

A while back I ordered from THIS site a large statue of Jessica Rabbit. I received an email confirmation of the order, saying that the piece would ship within 4 to 6 days of my credit card being approved.

A couple of weeks went by, and nothing turned up, so I fired off an email asking about the status of the order. A reply came a few days later saying it had already shipped.

So I waited another week or so, and when nothing arrived, fired off another email asking about the order. This time I was told that according to Disney it had shipped and was in transit. Curious, since the email have a banner across them declaring that WDW is not associated with Disney.

That was last week. Still nothing. I'll update if anything turns up, but for now, I suggest everyone avoid this site.

Thanks JB.

This weekend I'll be working on building and painting my Gilded Lily and Barda, they're set to arrive tomorrow.  I CAN'T WAIT to get my hands on these two.

I just got one at the Tent Sale of my LCS for 100 bucks.

BEAUTIFUL piece, but the base takes up A LOT of real estate.
