The Golden Age Hawkman had the weirdest ^#%#ing mask! A bear to draw! When I used him in WONDER WOMAN I actually gave up and used the Silver Age version. No one seemed to notice!

This one was designed by Joe Kubert and sculpted by Sam Greenwell.

Too much literalization. These sculptors need to look at Neal Adams more
and Alex Ross less. When Bruce Wayne puts on the batsuit, he does not
become Bruce Wayne in a batsuit, he becomes BATMAN. The costume does
not obey realistic laws of form, folds, gravity, etc. It becomes more than a
second skin -- it becomes his only skin.
