The civilians are obviously confused. For example, here are the lyrics for Henry Rollins' song Ghost Rider (from the awesome Crow soundtrack):
QUOTE:
Ghost Rider motor cycle hero Ghost Rider motor cycle hero Baby, baby, baby, baby, he's a blazin' away Like the stars, stars, stars in the universe, yeah! Baby, baby, baby, baby, he's lookin' so cute, yeah! ridin' around in a blue jump suit, yeah! Baby, baby, baby, baby, he's screamin' the truth! America is killin' its youth! cause he is cryin', dyin', chokin', drownin' Going to jail, going to jail, going to jail I see him dyin'! Dyin'!! Ohhhhhhh He's ridin' through town with his head on fire He's ridin' through town with his head on fire!! head on burnin' eyes all tired head on burnin' eyes all tired Ghost Rider Ghost Rider!! keep ridin' never stop ridin' don't forget to burn, don't forget to burn burn....with fire!! with fire, fire, fire, fire, fire! with fire!!! |

…Iron Man - Space Armor & Hydro Armor!…•• Apparently Stark was hit by the same technological collapse that walloped the STAR TREK universe. Back in the days of the Kree/Skrull War he could fly in space in just his regular armor! (When I was asked to pencil the fill-in issue that introduced Rhodey, the first thing I had to draw was Stark in a room full of armor variants. I looked up from the script and asked Roger Stern "Which is the one Robin wears when Batman is injured?")

Well, there you go. Thanks Bill. Still wondering why it took so long to have a Boomer figure though. Four years and this is the first, when they had so many before of the other characters?
I will have to place my order, even though the figure looks nothing like Grace Park.

You're welcome, Neil.
Saw the William Adama & Laura Roslin action figure prototypes at San Diego Comic-Con last year, and thought they looked spot on to actor's likenesses... Then I saw the actual production versions... Meh.
Which is why I'm sticking just with the Cylon Centurions (have to put in an order for the retro-style gold Command Centurion when it becomes available).

Would someone really want to display that in their house?
All the Nazi symbols are a bit much.

Hmm... That looks a little too long-dead-corpse and not enough man-in-
mask to me.

JB - If you have a moment, please read Randy Bowen's comments concerning the color of Johnny Blaze's 70s jumpsuit.
••
Jeez! We're in trouble right out of the gate if his leathers are going to be called a "jumpsuit". Go check with your local chapter of Hell's Angels. Ask them how many wear "jumpsuits".
And then take a look around at how many wear blue leather!
I truly despair when this "debate" flares up again and again. Just one more instance that points to us all wasting our time in comics, as so many "fans" refuse to comprehend even the simplest conceits of the form.
Blaze wears black leather. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs a reality check.*
* We will now sit back and wait for someone to search Google and find one picture out of thousands, millions, of a biker in blue. "See! See!!!"
************************************************************ ****************************
Sigh....silly me. You're right, it's DEFINITELY not a "jumpsuit." I can see where Randy's coming from being that Johnny Blaze wears "leathers" and the point he and you have both made concerning the use of blue to represent black in comics.
John - Do you like the character of Ghost Rider? I'm just curious.
Al
