That Flash "bust" is not bad -- altho he looks like he's running thru muddy
water! (And why is his belt falling off?)

So Dave,
the mailman did indeed BRING YOU THE HEAD OF HAL JORDAN! (Ha!)

Cool stuff.
Quick question, are the heads made of plastic or what?
( I love the whole idea that someone actually did this, and did it so well, too!)

Looks like Aoshima is re-releasing that 1/350 die-cast Gohten-go (Atragon) super submarine, this time in its GODZILLA: FINAL WARS pre-title sequence configuration:

It was pretty much the only thing I liked about the Godzilla: Final Wars (besides seeing the "tuna eating lizard" getting flame-broiled by the real deal), but I'm only going to pick this one up if HobbyLink Japan has another sale ( I got the original version of this back in July, and it's a real beauty!)

On a side note, the remote controlled replicas of the giant Maser Cannons from WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS and later Toho SFX films look like fun also..

I was thinking of picking up the Heroclix Galactus figure off of Ebay, does anyone have it?  How do you like it?  I was thinking it would look good with my Eaglemoss figurines.  Thanks for your thoughts.

As for the Flash bust, I'm thinking they're trying to make it look like the bolt is flowing behind him like he's running fast.

Highly recommended. Probably the best I have seen. As JPB notes, the
hands are "off" (too large) but other than that really nicely done.

Some new arrivals:

Originally wasn't going to pick up the Cyclops since it's not "my" Cyclops,
ie the Neal Adams/HIDDEN YEARS version, but it is my
Cyclops in the sense of the one I drew in my days on UNCANNY --
including the overly muscular physique I was ordered to give him. Also,
he was blue -- but not any more!

Colossus is REALLY nice!

They're slightly off-scale from the Bowen pieces, but not by much. Kind
of like when I used to build model cars, and would have 1/24th and
1/25th scale models on the same shelf, and no one seemed to notice.

A companion to the Black Widow -- don't give a hoot about Rogue, but
nice little sculpt.

And finally -- well, seriously! How could I resist?

I like mine a lot. Keep in mind that there are two versions: The 2004 Convention Exclusive one, which had matte paints, and a 2007 Tournament one, which was done in glossy paint.

If you don't mind my two cents, I would go with the Matte finish Galactus. To me it just looks better.
