Hmmm, that Adams B&W is one to get. I've collected so far: Bolland, Wagner, Rude, Pope, and Ross. Really want the Mignola piece!!

More shots of the Odin Full scale.
Apologies to Randy Bowan quoting him from another forum.
------------------------------------------------------------ --------------
Randy -
I hesitate even showing these because of the different colors of clay I'm using, and I don't want people to be confused by the current 'look'.
The "mail" shirt when finished will resemble dragon skin once it's detailed and painted.
There's also going to be a big-a$$ sword on his right hip, two ravens (one on his shoulder, one on the ground at his feet, and an extremely detailed base.
As I mentioned previously he'll also have a change-o-hand holding a battle axe.
------------------------------------------------------------ --------------
I resisted this hobby pretty well up tell now......

JB, I know this isn't a well known piece but I certainly see the similarity to the statue (which I just picked up today). Could this be what you were thinking of?

First of all, the Odin is, clearly, the most OMNIPOTENT statue ever! Oh
well, now my Thor statue will have his daddy!
Speaking of Gods... the Lion of Olympus arrived for me today:
Also, the little lead Vision:
Seems more a Neal Adams Vision than even a Buscema one, but it's a
close call.
I'm enjoying.
G--now hoping for a Warriors Three bust set!

My problem with both Vision statues is that their attempt to remain accurate to Avengers #57 image means there's no neck string for his cape! To my eyes, that just makes the Vision look "wrong."

The Vision may be my favorite of the figures so far. Really captures the character -- and, I must say (registering my only complaint with these figures so far), it's nice to have a normal-proportion male figure who isn't just standing there. There have been too many of those -- including Spider-Man and Nightcrawler, who really should be crouched.Hey, Gary Lee! Does your Vision have a kinda "sloppy" paint job, with brush strokes visible?

And I just ordered this to go with the Spider-Man. I imagine that it's going to be huge sitting next to it.

Hm. That Spider-Woman bust looks like I drew it 'round 1975! Like the Tigra mini -- think I must seek that one out.I sure do wish, tho, that the leaping Batgirl had her legs positioned differently!

Beautiful sculpt on Supreme. What a pity it's wasted.
(Hey! I get to say that! Rob Liefeld told me his very own self that he "created" Supreme just for me! Because, you know, if I was going to work on a Superman rip off, I would want it to be somebody else's Superman rip off, not one I came up with on my own!)

A talented friend of mine bought the same Supreme statue and re-worked into Superman and Krypto. It really looked nice. Unfortunately, it, along with all his other stuff, went with his house during Hurricane Katrina.
I had ordered a same-size true Pieta to go with the Mar-vell one, but it never shipped and I had to get my money back.
The Batgirl legs are positioned awkwardly. The angle of the shot emphasizes it a bit too much, too.
The Tigra bust is really nice, JB. The tail is separate from the base and seems very fragile. But it adds a nice effect.

I never knew Rob "created" Supreme for you to do. That's funny. (I'll admit it was a guilty pleasure of mine to read. Chris Sprouse's artwork on the title was too good to pass up.)

Yeah, looks like they painted the body of the Vision too lightly with the green--perhaps the yellow is bleeding through in spots? The face is neatly done, though.

I see there are plans to include a Silver Banshee minibust in the "Women of the DC Universe" series. I wonder if they'll get the face right --- that's supposed to be make-up (or war-paint, perhaps!), not a real skull.

Not an "action figure", but the latest addition. FAB 1 on order!
About 2 feet long. "Studio Scale".
