I am living proof that both can be the acceptable situation.

The S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla 2019 and S.H.Figuarts Evil Ultraman Belial arrived last week, and finally had some time to open 'em up.

After reading about all the quality control nightmares of the 2014 version, it was a relief to get 2019 without much squawks:

Not that I really have all that much space in my apartment for it, but quality control problems have been the major reason I haven't bought any of the SHMA Godzilla figures.

And I really wanted the 1954 and 2001 figures. Still do. If there's a repaint of the 1954 version where they bother to paint Godzilla's claws -- which should be white or silver or something like that, not gray like his skin -- I'll spring for it.

(It really is amazing how much better the 2019 Godzila looks compared to the 2014 version. All it takes is more traditional looking dorsal spines and foot claws!)

My latest addition from Eaglemoss - the Planet Killer. Not got the batteries for it yet so it's in its 'dead' state.
Looks a lot better in real life than the publicity photos showed.

Still waiting for them to get the ST III Space Dock back in and then I'll have all the ones I want I think. Had an email a while back saying it was back in stock, clicked it immediately and it was already out of stock again. Tough one to get, that one is.

Wish you'd included something for scale. I usually put my glasses in the shot when photographing a model.

Hm. Thanks. Seems kinda puny. I'll probably pass on this one.
