Savage, implement wielding lizard men?  If I wasn't already there, I would *definitely* be now!

Great stuff. I really see the Kubert vibe. At first look I was going to say it reminds me a little of Guy Davis. But before now I never realized how much Kubert had probably influenced Davis' work. This looks really creepy. I love it.

oh come on Wayne and JB, this is 2007. Mole dudes with spears? Crazed apes? kids using their imaginations? That ain't comics. No four letter words, no illicit sex, no heroes fighting heroes for the stupidest reasons, no Skrulls....

and I couldn't be more glad. I have to say that for the first time in 30 years of collecting (which I guess makes me one of those) I've been thining about quitting. Thank you, Wayne and John, for single-handedly keeping me in the hobby. I'm looking very forawrd to this.

"Wayne...This stuff is in your head?"

Not hardly. I just said - please give me a DPS (because of the greedy art
collector in me) of FX fighting these lizard guys in the subway (small
spoiler). The rest is all JB.

Obviously, I would have been a fool to work full script on this. Marvel style
leaves so much more to the imagination of the artist. Looks like a good call
to me.
