Nice pieces. I especially like the Saturn Girl.

(And I wish Chris Giarrusso would get around to updating his website with commission information)

Thanks Brad, John and Brian. I am slowly doing two legion commissions n my Legion of Superheroes sketch book with the Moy brothers at the San Diego Con. At the rate I am going,it will probably be another twenty to thirty years to get the book done.

Jimmie is winning the art lottery with only one day in at SDCC. I look forward to the rest of your weekends pick-ups.

Nice artworks, Jimmie!

Whenever I've gone to SDCC, Ron Lim and Moy brothers are always on my artist's alley wish list (you have to get Phil early or else his commission list is filled by Friday).

Congrats!

Very nice Jimmie.  I have always liked Lim's art and he did a great job there.

William, The Moy brothers are great. They are very nice and professional. I actually got up on thursday morning, at 4AM and drove to San Diego to be able to get parking by 5:30 AM. By 6 or 7AM parking in scarcer near the convention center. Waited in line from 5:30 to 9AM. As soon as I was able to get into the con, I made a beeline to the brothers to have them add two more Legion of Superheroes to my LSH sketchbook( their choice of characters). Came back about 5 hours later and my artwork was done. It was great to be able to enjoy the con and know that the sketches would be spectacular when I got them. I always try to get to any of the artists by thursday because as Bill says, their list are usually full by late thursday and usually on friday, its too late. I was only able to make the one day, thats why I try to get setup with as much art as I can and as I can afford. It was a fun and long day.

Just back from SDCC, lots of celebrity sigs and interesting show panels, but I think what YOU guys might appreciate more is that I got to meet Gene the Dean, and picked up this beautiful Nathaniel Dusk page (quickly snapped before shipping back home)....

Adrienne Colan told me that all the original art from the four issues was stolen some time back, and this is one of two obscure pages she recently found.  Needless to say, I'm thrilled.

[Edit: Found a somewhat better image on Gene's web site, so I'm substituting for my image]

Awesome pick up Steve!  Hard to beat Gene Colan.
