I've been pretty lazy lately and haven't scanned any of my new purchases. Well I'm feeling motivated and thought I'd share.

First up is a grail of sorts. JB did a six page story in Tales of the Green Lantern Corps Annual 3. Not only was it a cool story but it was also inked by Kurt Shaffenberger. In my quest I found that JB still had three of the pages in his collection. So special thanks to JB and Jim Warden for dusting these off for me. Then I found another art dealer who had the final two pages of this story. Some of the word balloons have fallen off, but on some pages you can see JB's handwritten lettering.

Now all that's left is the first page to complete this gem. If anyone out there knows where it is, drop me an email.

I won this JRJr sketch off of eBay. Artist Josh Medors was raising money for his medical bills.

I don't recall ever seeing Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez draw Darkseid. So when I saw this style guide I had to have it. Inks are by Dick Giordano.

That JRjr Punisher is great!

Looks like the Darkseid is based on the Super Powers figure design (or the other way around?).

Here is the Wieringo sketch I mentioned finding in a box at my place that I had long forgotten about (man I miss his work):

Cool stuff Paul. It wouldn't be that much work to recreate the word balloons. Let me know if you ever need help with that...
