Fred, I hope you find your package. It would be heartbreaking if it got lost.

Phillipe, the Kubert sketch sale seems to be over. He was only doing 100 and they have sold them out.

All the new art looks great. Thanks to all who post.

Mike---Wonderful Rude Cap piece. I really wish he was given the chance to do more mainstream work by DC and Marvel.

Well, the Kubert book is gone and I am sick about it. Apparently UPS left the package on the back porch of the building I live in. There are 4 units and none of them are marked, so it was a pretty assinine thing to do. The best that I can hope for is that the Kubert School will submit a claim to get my money back. *ugh*

Fred,

Man that stinks! I might be inclined to post a flyer around the area offering a $25 reward if anyone happens to "find" the book. By using "find" you wouldn't be accusing anyone of stealing and $25 might incentive enough for someone to return it.
Bummer.

Fred,

I would think Kubert would do a replacement sketch for you.  Let us know how this works out.

UPS was clearly negligent in leaving the package like that.  This is terrible. Can you get in line again??

That's awful, Fred.  I hope UPS makes it right.

My mailbox is at the end of a fairly long driveway. The mailman once left a
package perched on top of it, because it wouldn't fit inside. I guess the guy
didn't feel like coming to the door.

At least FedEx and UPS are required to come to the door!

Fred, so sorry to hear that.
I hate it when mail services leave things unattended. Had that problem here a while back with the regular mail leaving packages from various places outside our apartment door and not even bothering to ring the bells once to see if anyone was home. Luckily nothing ever disappeared, but I managed to topple over a few packages since I work a lot from home and the stupid buggers had leaned the packages against the door on more than one occasion. Was in touch with the postal services on a number of times and got a whole bunch of asinine answers until it was eventually agreed that they'd just leave slips and let me pick up all my packages at the service spot (and put up a big note on the door to discourage any fill in mailman to leave any package they may have brought along). Better than losing things, I guess.
Hope that the package somehow does turn up though or that Kubert'll be nice enough to set you up with another sketch. Keeping my fingers crossed for you at any rate, for what it's worth.

Mike, lovely Kubert piece.

I have contacted the Kubert School to request that they file a claim with UPS, as per the shipper's website instructions. I will "be made whole" and hope that UPS is upfront in accepting responsibility, so that this is quickly settled. It would be great if Kubert would do another piece for me, but I am not expecting that, since he is not responsible for the screw up. *blah, I need to shake this off...
