I'm totally in love with that piece. If you ever for whatever reason need to sadly part with it, let me know.

Although I remember the charity auction (heck I remember all the ones Walt has donated to) and the end price tends to happily be out of my price range...

This thread always brings a smile to my face and a warm feeling inside!!!  Especially when I see work that takes me back to a better time in comics.  Thanks for all the posting of the beautiful pieces of art gang!

Sorry for the crappy picture. But I haven't gotten a scanner big enough yet. Anyway Fantastic Four by Ron Lim with inks by Al Milgrom.

Bill - beautiful piece!  Can you list who did each headshot?

Shawn - are the excellent Lim and Nelson pieces commissions or did you find them online or at a convention?

I got both of the pieces off ebay. The Lim I picked up several years ago for a steal. The Nelson I've had for a couple of months.

I was about to comment how much I liked Nelson's inking on this. Then I remembered who he is.
Kevin, Nelson is the guy who butchered JB's pencils during his latest Action Comics stint. He is, obviously, very talented, but I think he should stick with layout artists or drawing his own art.

I literally just found this tuck in a hardcover book in a box I was going through.  Concrete by Paul Chadwick:

Love seeing those ROM pics.  Brings back good memories.

The Grell looks great. He is smooth with his lines.

Nice FF pic.

Great Thing.
