Wow. Great looking DP page. Love that first panel. Always neat when you can find two pages that come before or after another.

I was just wondering what happened to that FF piece.  I should have pinned it down a year or so ago.

Great pick-ups, guys!

Spent some time this past week combing through and scanning my convention sketchbook pages... Found a lot of ones that I initially passed over during the first run a year ago, with plenty of odd-ball stuff from prior to the big black & white comics implosion of the 90s (i.e. lots of anthropomorphic and small press stuff).

Restarting the Wednesday autograph-sketch postings (unless there are objections):

Nice pieces guys. Currently i am in my motel room out at the Pittsburgh comic con. This my first time at this show and was very surprised how small the crowd is for such an older show. But it is a very good show. Today, I was able commision pieces from Perez and Frenz and pick up a head shot from Joe Sinnott. Enjoy these photos.

Cool pick ups Brian! Unfortunately, Pittsburgh's crowds have been getting smaller and smaller over the years... to the point that I didn't set up there this year (for the first time in many many years...). Just not enough traffic to justify the increased table and hotel costs.
Maybe it's due to having the same guests every year?

I do miss saying "howdy" to Ron Frenz and Pat Olliffe.. If you have a second, tell them Dave Aikins sez "Hey"!

Hmm. Pittsburgh, eh? I'm looking to add a 2nd comic con and I have relatives nearby that would enjoy a visit.  I am in Atlanta and go to HeroesCon in Charlotte. Dragon*Con while fun isn't  really a "comic-con" and the artists alley isn't all that great.

Brian!  Great pickups!  Love the Frenz and Sinnott especially!

That would be a great show for me!  Rats...

I tells ya, Joe (both of you)- many of the guests at the Pittsburgh show have saturated the area. So.. new attendees have no problem getting the sketches they want. Heck, if there were more new folks going to the show, it wouldn't be as slow!
