Ari, you really need a scanner! Do you actually commission most of these or do you get most through people going to cons?

Many of the last pieces were picked up for me at conventions. This one is a commission.

I see I never posted a couple of pieces I got a couple of weeks ago:
From the Warp Special that First Comics did in the early '80s. Howard
Chaykin being inked by George Freeman.
(I picked up the page right after this a couple of months ago.)

This is an Indiana Jones piece, with breakdowns by Chaykin and Terry Austin
doing finishes.

oh, and there was this page I picked up about the same time:
Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez being inked by Ernie Chan on a Batman page from
the mid-70s. No Batman here, but fun Garcia-Lopez design work, back
when he was new to comics.
And blue-line edits and white out right on the art! Love seeing this stuff.

Andrew, very cool Chaykin pages. I really like the Indiana Jones. I really enjoyed that book when I was younger.

"Warp" was a movie, or a play?

Play, originated sometime in the early 70s.
Neal Adams designed the costumes (at least for the original production), and
did some of the set design too.

i saw WARP in Chicago as a kid back then myself.... I loved it as a 13 year old! They had a bunch of Neal's art as posters and hangings around the theater. I spent as much time looking at that as I did the play itself.
I do remember there was a very brief nude scene...somewhat hidden by a guaze drapery had made my parents VERY uncomfortable sitting with their 13 year old son!!

Would you be willing to pass on a high res scan of that Chaykin Indy piece?

From an Irish con a while back.
Sean was a nice guy but he refused to tell me who was going to be on DD after Bendis. Should've guessed it was longtime collaborator Brubaker.

Volkes has a very nice style about him in both his artwork in his interpersonal interactions. I had a cool chat with him a few years back and he did an impressive watercolor sketch (Though it was very detailed) of the protagonist from his Wicked West graphic novel.

Got a story from Avi Granov about a mixed up New Avengers' cover (they flipped it at the printers'). He noticed because his signature was backwards. I didn't notice his signature on this at first and thought he wasn't signing sketches!
Will probably get an Iron Man when he's in Dublin next month.
