Thanks Adam!   And your 19-second Batman is awesome!

I wonder what a 19-second Superman or Wonder Woman would look like...

Joe Rubinstein recreated this double page spread from the Art of John Buscema. I asked him to ink it in his style instead of trying to copy "Big John's" style.

Christos,

That's cool!  You don't happen to have a link to what the original looked like for a comparison of the inking jobs do you?

I really enjoy Dezago and Rousseau's Perhapanauts and was really thrilled to be able to get this sketch of Choopie annoying Hellboy from Craig (via Comic Art House).

I was very pleased to get a package in the mail yesterday from Chris Giarrusso containing the original art for a number of promotional pieces for Mid-Ohio-Con 2009 as well as a couple of sketches that I never got around to picking up way back at New York Comic Con:

Mini Watchmen Poster Art

Fantastic Four Website Banner

Shogun Warrior Great Mazzinger Website Banner

Mini Marvels Website Banner

Niteowl + Owlship Convention Sketch

Batman Convention Sketch

You can see the website banners in living color at www.midohiocon.com.  The Fantastic Four banner is up now and we'll be rotating in the others over time.

I really like Giarrusso as the artistic "face" of MidOhioCon!  Can't wait to see him again at the show!

Chris G was the only stop I made at WonderCon's artist alley this year. My son got a huge kick out of the Batman sketch Chris drew in front of him.
