The lead character, Jack, from Irish comic Freakshow by award winning artist Declan Shalvey. (He did the monkey I posted earlier for my friend).

Last but not least. Pia was a delightful person to meet. I really enjoyed her panel with Leah Moore.

I'm finally getting around to scanning the pages I received from Jim Warden last week.
I loved this page when I saw it in BotD. I think I'm going to have to pull out this run and read it again. So many pages tell a story by themselves, I almost don't regret not having lettering on the art. Almost.

I have a few of the Tigra/Thor pages from JKFW. I'm becoming a sucker for JB's Kirby Krackle.

And apparently my scanner problem has resolved itself without any help from me. Weird.

This isn't a new page, I've had it for years, but only rediscovered it this morning, hidden in one of Jim's mailing packages. It's a few inches longer on each side than the 11x17 pages so it won't fit in either of my portfolios. Stupid me, I forgot I stored it somewhere else.

Some of you may know I represent artist Eric W. Meador. He just emailed me a scan of his latest piece. It's sweeet!

Gerry, that Vokes commission is outstanding!
Ryan, that is a fantastic BOTD page. Now I hate you because you were able to buy it before I could.

Gerry, I love that full comic comission of yours. Huge congrats on that! Btw, how will you be keeping it? Comic style in some sort of folder to "flip" through or sequentially on the walls? Just curious.
David, nice stuff – and especially that Buckingham Bigby. Makes me slightly envious in all honesty. Huge Fables fan.
And congrats to Ryan for that sweet BotD page. Still haven't had a chance to sit down and read the comics since I bought them. I just know I want to have enough time to sit down and savour them without interruption, but I'll get there eventually.

Thanks Joakim.
Sketch Q for the forum: Jim Lee is coming to Dublin next month. I'm going to try and get a sketch (probably be my only chance to), what would you ask for?
(Batman comes to mind but seems too obvious. My friend is planning on getting Psylocke or Punisher)

Jim Lee can draw anybody so really I would go for my favorite character right now:
Hal Jordan!
Nostagia picks would be:
Classic Ghost Rider or Wolverine

Between the Strange costume and the recent Marvel heroes underwear shot, I think we're getting dangerously close to learning a bit too much about your private life Mr. Turnbull...
