Okay, I need to play a little catch-up. I haven't been scanning stuff and have fallen behind in sharing some of the stuff I've aquired.

First up, a pair of sketches from Mid-Ohio Con 2009 from Art Baltazar.

This piece is from our own Dave Aikins. Also from Mid-Ohio Con 2009.

I commissioned Fred Hembeck to do this cover redo for Mid-Ohio Con 2009.

I'm no Fred Chamberlain but I saw this piece on Gabriel Hardman's website and I had to have it.

He also sent this nifty sketch to go with the above art.

Jason Hickcock was kind enough to pick up this Kevin Nowlan sketch for me. Thanks again, Jason!

I might have shared a bad photo of this when I first received this. However, I feel I should share a better scan for this watercolor painting by Jill Thompson.

Thanks, Ryan!

One more before I go to bed. I've been looking for a Kirby 4th World page for years. I once even bought a Super Powers page only to be informed by JB that it was a light box piece and he had the original pencils by Kirby. It became a quest to find something 4th World by Kirby. Well I found this piece online and jumped at the chance to buy it. It has Darkseid, Desaad, the Forever People, Darkseid, the Infinity Man (not really but that is him being blasted in the first panel) and more Darkseid. A real grail by any definition. Check out the original selling price in the top right corner. $30!!!

You da man, Paul!

Ryan, that Dave Aikins guy is a drunk tool. You're better off spending your money on hookers and blow.

Paul- at some point I need to get the details on the Jill Thompson commission. Love her color work. Funny that I never really liked her regular comic work, but her children's book watercolor work is awesome.

Oh man....where to begin.....

Those Baltazar sketches are great!  I saw the Avengers one in person but I missed the Prof X!  Very cool.  He really captured something with the whole pose of the hand and facial expression there!  The Avengers piece is just pure magic!

Paul...the Kirby page is spectacular.  (Paul was kind enough to bring it to GemCity a few weeks ago so he got to hear me praise it in person).  It's about as great a Kirby New Gods page as anyone could hope for.  Darkseid in multiple panels, all the Forever People, Infinity-Man (he counts!), Desaad and Omega Beams to boot!  I officially have a new favorite piece of art that has been shared on this forum.  Beautiful.

Paul, you are no Fred Chamberlain, even on your worst day. Beautiful pieces!
