I too must echo the statement of  Michael Andrew Gonoude, and utter a hearty "Damn it!"

Y'know, considering JB's output, it would be interesting to challenge his mighty penciling prowess on a 52 or Countdown weekly-type of series. Certainly new JB comics every seven days would be a dream come true for many of us here. Alas . . .

FX looks great (even though it's strange having colors without FX!) and so does Star Trek.

I find it interesting that in a few months I will have picked 3 titles from IDW (the third is Angel, the first issue of which was great, even though the art was mediocre), a company I ignored completely a few months back.

I really hope the continuation and finale of Next Men gets published ral soon by IDW. As I recall, they are about to publish paperback edition of the existing stories of Next Men, right? This will eventually turn me into a happy buyer of a 4th IDW title...

I am officially starting to root for a Buffy/Batman crossover as of now by Whedon & Byrne, given JB is still interested. I would love to have JB work on the current Buffyverse books (in Dark Horse or in IDW). He could make the already high quality of the current series soar that much higher...

I think you mean "if", not "given".

JB - would working on anything Buffy related interest you? I haven't really been involved in any Buffy related discussions in here, so I must admit being in the dark on how you feel about the tv-series, let alone any comics spin-off/adaptation. Just curious.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing an all JB Buffy/Batman or even on just a Buffy arc (possibly with Whedon as executive producer as on the new Buffy and Angel series). Always enjoyed JB's depiction of strong female characters, a quality I think he shares with Whedon.

I haven't received my Ashcan copy of FX#1 ( yes, the cries in the Christmas night were from me ), but I have already pre-order ( or reserved my copies of FX the mini series, the Romulans issue, and the JLA arc.

And I wish also that Mister B. would do justice to a great character, Flash Gordon.

Anyone knows who own the rights ?
