Looking back over the commissions assembled in the Gallery just now. (Thanks again to Dapper Dan Marcoux!) As most of you know, I decline to pick my "favorites" of the pieces I do -- why tell a paying customer I like his piece less than some other? -- but there were some I had more good ol' fashioned fun with than others. Sliding scale, of course. I don't accept a commission unless I think I'm going to have fun with it!Anyway, restricting this to the 11x17in pieces, these are the six that tickled my pencil the most in 2007…

Those would all make magnificent covers.

All of them are fantastic, but I gotta say that my favorite of the pieces you've just posted has to be Spider-Man dropping in on Batman and the girls. Love it.

The Spider-Man, Batman, Catwoman & Black Cat one is my favorite of those, all excellent, pieces.

Why you're not one of these "cover artists" is beyond me.

These 6 are awesoo0O0ooome, good and funny ideas! I can't choose one of them, I like the Capt. Marvels but the last one is very funny, and the Spider-Man with Batman is spectacular.

It was a great year for me, my collection increased by 3. If I had to choose between the 6 above, it'd be really tight between the Hulk battle and Galactus/Rog. One is a great futuristic battle with the character that JB just keeps getting better at drawing (Hulk) vs. a scene that just cracks me up.

All of them look great. I'm particularly fond of 1, 2 and 5.

I'm a HUGE fan of your Batman, JB, but the Galactus chasing Rog always gives me a smile when I see it.
