Aw, I was hoping it'd be Darkseid, but still cool.

Christos had cheerfully consented to let me make it Darkseid, knowing my
lack of interest in Thanos, but when I found out the piece was for him, and
that it would be part of this ongoing theme, I just as cheerfully restored
Thanos.

This commission is great! The Captain America figure in the center with the blast deflecting off his shield is a great focal point to the piece. Quite an impressive three-part commission theme!
Seeing this makes me more eager than ever to commission ******** vs *** **** like I've been thinking about for so long...

Well, two other pieces with Avengers vs a single foe. Seems like a "theme".

Looking at it again... that could be just about your best Thor yet, JB. The wings on his helmet are nice! In general, something else that's distinctively good about your more recent work is how you render teeth.

Picked that up looking at the work of Jim Lee. (See, I really AM a human
sponge!)

Christos has an Avengers commission collection to be envied. There is just something extra special about these large commission; so many ideas!
