I apologize if this was covered in another thread, but are these commissions with the cityscapes/foregrounds being considered 'character' or with-background pieces?

Our resident gargoyle fan should be very happy. The Batgirl aint so bad either. Real nice use of black.

Basically, Ryan, if there's no border, it's a character piece!

And in this instance, it was my decision to toss in a background, not the
request of the customer.

Probably your best Batgirl ever. Exquisite proportions and lovely characterization.

Gotcha, thanks, JB.  These last few commissions seemed to fall somewhere in-between full backgrounds and just characters, so it's been on my mind.  Awfully nice bonus, in my opinion.  I love your buildings!

Perfect.

Wow.

I wish I had something more interesting to say about it but those are the only words that seem to be moving through my brain.
