I am not big into politics but I have been paying attention to this. I don't like Obama of Clinton. And I don't consider myself one party or another. I really liked Biden for the Democratic nomination.
It may be McCain for me if things keep going this way.

Oh, and my response is not an endorsement of John McCain. I just think
he's going to win.

This morning they were talking again about the possibility of Hillary and Obama running together; this would at least unify a vast majority of democrats in the general election, but I would much prefer Obama as the presidential candidate.

I think Clinton will win, as much as the media continues to try to proclaim Obama the guaranteed nominee.
I suspect that Clinton, if she gets the nomination, will ask Obama to be her running mate, although I doubt the opposite will hold true. An Obama-Clinton ticket is the only way I would vote for him, if he gets the nomination. I flat out don't care for him, and if it comes down to McCain vs Obama, I will either vote for McCain, write-in for Clinton, or simply abstain from voting.

My prediction is Obama will win it. I like McCain, but Bush has pretty much destroyed the Rupublican's chances. And McCain's nothing like Bush...but can he get people to understand that? Obama has a Kennedy-esque positivism and speaking ability. That's very appealing in a leader, especially as how is contrasts Bush's meger speaking ability.
Clinton as VP would solidify the ticket. I'm wondering if McCain should pick a very conservative running mate, or should he pick someone more appealing to the center. If McCain picks a member of a minority it could be seen as a token guesture, or as a genuine sign of the times...

Hillary would never settle for Vice President. I hope McCain wins because there are so many jokes that can be made about him.

I don't think an Obama-Hillary pairing would bring that much to the
table. I think most of the democrats that would vote for one would
probably vote for the other anyway, but there's a strong contingent of
middle of the road people that feel "anyone but..." for either of these
candidates that pairing both of them would actually lose voters. Issues
aside, just having a black man and a woman on the ticket is a
questionable strategy in that you have both racism and sexism as
obstacles to overcome on one ticket and I don't think we're at the point to
make that big of a leap forward.
