Just finished #2.

I have to say -- I am much more impressed with the art and storytelling in this issue than in issue #1 - and I thought #1 was really good.

My son's copy is waiting for him on his bed --- he'll be all smiles when he sees it tonight.

GREAT job Wayne and John !!!

I feel the same way as Steven. FX #1 was good, but the second installment
is far better! If this keeps up, I'm going to be very sad when the series
comes to an end.

Oh, and I enjoyed the brief question and answer piece with JB that comes
after the story.

My new LCS forgot to order me one, just like with Star Trek.

I'll get it next week.

Thanks, guys. I hope that I get better as it goes along. It did make a
difference knowing that I had five more issues to work with. I didn't know
that with number one.

And just wait 'til you see what JB does in the next 4. Awesome work.

Congrats, Wayne.  you can count me in for the TPB too.  I'll support whatever you do, especially if you make a buck or break even and try it again.

-- I guess the good news -- My LCS sold out.  They initially ordered 1 copy of #1 for just me -- then I had them re-order so my son could thrash a copy.  So I asked them to order me 2 copies of each issue.  Well, they ordered my copies and 1 extra for the shelf -- and it sold !!

The beginning part reminded me of the Spider-Man comics I grew up reading in the 70's. I agree with others 1 was good but 2 was very good!

The time lag for my LCS here in Sweden getting the stuff is now officially killing me. I'm still waiting for issue 1,*  but somehow, it was more ok to wait for issue 1 as I'd read it in Ashcan format. Now I'm getting all giddy about issue 2 and still not having number 1 in hand... a wee bit frustrating.
(and sorry for complaining, but I had to share with some people wjo might understand).

Anyways, any chance of some kind soul at least posting the cover or the opening page? Just to give this little junkie a whiff of his fix. :)

* It's all above board in the sense that they told me when I ordered that I could expect the first issue during the later half of April, which I guess means that's they're ordinary delivery time for shipments to their store (possibly by boat, would be my guess).

Read it last nite, and it was good(again). I like the addition of characters that are happening, the last page splash was also nice.
